Queerly Embodied: LGBTQIA+ Community Day

Join us for Queerly Embodied, a community-centered event hosted by Catalyst Training Center in partnership with the Grand Rapids Trans Foundation dedicated to gender affirmation and strengthening the mind/body connection. Designed with the trans community in mind but open to all members of the queer community, this day is about creating space for gender affirmation, fostering the mind-body connection, empowerment, and community. Throughout the day, we’ll offer a variety of FREE supportive and affirming activities: - Gender Affirming Haircuts (by appointment - sign up details TBD) - Binder Fitting with the GR Trans Foundation - Access to the Gender Junk Catalogue for ordering gender-affirming resources through the GR Trans Foundation’s program: https://grtransfoundation.org/gender-junk/ - Functional Range Conditioning Class with Catalyst’s owner, Sabrina, to bridge the gap between flexibility and mobility and leave you feeling grounded in your body - WERQ Dance Class led by local drag king Creature Type Human (Lindsey) - Tarot & Oracle Card Readings - Activity Stations for painting nails and creating signs for the GR Pride march Come as you are and connect with a community that affirms and celebrates you.
